I'm back! We all knew I would be at some point. Last time I posted (back in April!) we had failed our Whole 30 Challenge.
I'm sad to say that I've been terrible lately, food/drink wise. Healthy? Not so much. My rolls have increased considerably because of it. No bueno. But I've decided that crazy diets and "challenges" don't really work for me. Once you stop whatever one you're doing everything comes back. I've been eating better for the most part lately and haven't been drinking alcohol so that's helping. I just need to get back to a place where I'm working out consistently. Struggle of my life...
In other news, our bathroom remodel is coming along nicely! Daniel even surprised me while I was away for a bachelorette party by doing the baseboards, yay! Seriously, we've been in that house for 10+ years and took the baseboards off when we tiled the floor back when we moved in. Here are some "before" pics.
Paint is done, baseboards done, hung some curtains (which need to be hemmed), spray painted a candle holder, hung it up. I also mounted 2 pieces of art that we got on our honeymoon but have yet to hang them.
It looks a million times better though. It got held up because I started to peel some cracked wall texture and discovered mold, eek! Daniel had to cut out a chunk of drywall and re-do it.
As for the rest, I'll wrap up the last few details soon and post "after" pics. Until then, or until I feel like writing again, ta-ta for now!
